Reward for finding adopted California City siblings reaches $ 120,000

The manager of California City, a city located in the Bakersfield area, confirmed that the reward for finding two small lost brothers Over a month and a half ago it has risen to $ 120,000.

The increased reward comes after a marijuana company called Traditional Co. has committed $ 20,000.

Orrin West, 4, and his little brother Orson, 3, disappeared on December 21 from the backyard of their home in California City while playing. The children were adopted by the West family and after their mysterious disappearance the biological mother, Ryan Dean, has blamed the adoptive parents, causing confrontations between both families.

Orrin and Orson, African American children, were described as 3 feet tall, and 30 to 40 pounds in weight. They both wore black sweatshirts and gray pants.

California City is part of Kern County, about 100 miles north of Los Angeles.

Earlier this week, California City Police used sonar devices at the West’s home to search for possible traces of the kids.

“It is just to see if there are any situations, objects or anomalies on the ground, similar to a sonar,” John Walker, chief of the local police, told the media. “It goes at a depth of 12 to 15 feet … We didn’t find anything significant.”
