Like that Action alliance “We are the Dresden Firewall” announced, Revolverheld will play on Saturday at the major protest against right-wing extremism on Theaterplatz.
“It is more important than ever at the moment to defend ourselves against fascism and extremism,” said the Hamburg band.
The Dresden bands Etna and Banda Comunale will also be at the start alongside Revolverheld. The organizers have not yet announced the exact times for the respective concerts.

In addition to the music bands, there will also be speeches from the Foreigners’ Council, Fridays for Future Dresden, Mission Lifeline and the Grandmas Against the Right.
The regional bishop of the Protestant Church Tobias Bilz (60) and a representative of the Jewish communities in Dresden will also have their say.

In total, more than 160 local clubs, institutions, unions, religious communities, associations, universities and companies are calling for the large-scale demonstration against the right.
The organizers want to announce on Instagram what exactly the demonstration route will look like on Saturday. A tour of the old town is currently planned.
