Recent technological advances have paved the way for innovative approaches in the creation of vaccines, with a focus on increasing the effectiveness and availability of these products. RNA vaccines, for example, including messenger RNA vaccines, have emerged as an alternative to traditional vaccine manufacturing methods. They are produced using advanced technologies that increase the stability of the messenger RNA and facilitate the administration process.[1]
In addition, nanoparticle vaccines have emerged as an alternative to vaccines with attenuated viruses. Along with virus-like particle vaccines, DNA or RNA vaccines have been developed to rapidly respond to viral epidemics and pandemics.[2]
More effective and cost-effective vaccination methods will also help address current challenges in vaccine development and pave the way to combating a wide variety of pathologies, from contagious to cancer.[3]
