UOL columnists discussed the differences between the Portuguese
The Brazilian team continues without a definitive coach. In the first FIFA Date after the failure in the World Cup in Qatar, the team from Canarinho stumbled against Morocco after being defeated by 2-1, in a friendly match in which Brazil was commanded by the interim Ramon Menezes. The strongest name to permanently replace Tite is Carlo Ancelotti, at least he is the favorite of CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues.
Despite the preference for the Italian coach, Ancelotti has already expressed his interest in continuing in charge of Real Madrid. Other options in case of failure of the CBF with the merengue coach are two well-known Portuguese in Brazilian football, Jorge Jesus, former coach of Flamengo, and Abel Ferreira, current coach of Palmeiras.
UOL columnists debated the differences between the Portuguese during Posse de Bola. For Juca Kfouri, the work developed by Jorge Jesus at Flamengo is ahead of that of Abel Ferreira at Palmeiras. “For me, the difference is that Jorge Jesus did make a revolution in Brazilian football. A revolution in exploring what Brazilian football has to offer. And this Abel did not do”, said Juca Kfouri.
Arnaldo Ribeiro highlighted the coaches’ differences. “They are the great references of technicians in Brazil in the last decade. One is the biggest idol of the country’s main fans in terms of number. And the relationship between the Palmeirense and Abel I think is even more connected”, evaluated Arnaldo Ribeiro.
