Asus’ next ROG mobile phone is said to take the screen refresh to a new level.
Today, many mobile phones have a screen refresh rate between 60 and 120 Hz, except for a few gaming mobile phones that can offer 144 Hz or 160 Hz. Now Asus is said to turn the pace even further in the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 9.
The Digital Talk Station is the leaker according to the publication 91 mobile assuming the display will have a refresh rate of 185 Hz, which would be a new record speed for mobile phones. Simply put, the ROG Phone 9 could refresh the screen three times while a regular 60 Hz mobile phone would have time to refresh once, which could bring very smooth and smooth movements on the screen. Otherwise, the screen is said to be a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution and a brightness of up to 2500 nits.
It is also said that it will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor together with up to 24 gigabytes of working memory and 1 terabyte of storage as well as a battery of 5800 mAh with support for fast charging 60W. It should also launch with Android 15 installed.
The Asus ROG Phone 9 is expected to launch on November 19.
