“Revolut Launches ETF Services for Customers in European Economic Area”

The financial app “Revolut” this week will start the introduction of ETF (exchange-traded funds) services for customers in the European Economic Area. The company says more than a hundred ETFs will be available to app customers across the board.

ETFs stand for exchange-traded funds and offer clients a simple and flexible way to diversify their financial portfolio. These funds invest in a wide range of securities, such as stocks or bonds, and save clients a lot of time and expense compared to investing in each security individually. The hosts of “Delfi Bizness” show Konstantīns Kuzikovs and Raivis Vilūns have also included these funds in their portfolios.

“Our goal is to continue to expand our offering in wealth and trading products. The launch of the ETF follows the successful launch of the Revolut Securities Europe trading unit and the expansion of US-listed stocks across the EEA last March. In addition to this, we will soon introduce a wide range of other investment products, including EEA-listed shares, mutual funds, bonds, Robo digital advice platform services and a more sophisticated trading platform for experienced traders,” comments Head of Wealth and Trading (EEZ) Rolands Juteika.

Revolut will offer comprehensive ETF coverage of emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, hydrogen and big data, as well as established industries such as video games, forests, electric vehicles, clean energy or cloud computing, as well as traditional industries such as technology, health care, energy, travel and leisure and biotechnology. The offer will cover most global indices, including the S&P 500, NASDAQ, DAX and FTSE, the company said.

The minimum investment amount is 1 euro. Revolut also applies a custodial fee of 0.12% per annum of the market value of the user’s assets, which is charged monthly.
