Washington intends to continue supporting the “reproductive health rights” around the world despite the landmark Supreme Court ruling revoking this right in the United States, said Friday the head of the American diplomacy Antony Blinken.
The State Department”will remain fully committed to facilitating access to reproductive health services and promoting reproductive health rights around the world“, said the secretary of state in a press release.
We will not waver on this commitment
Antony Blinken also assured that his services “will do everything possible“so that all State Department employees can access it,”wherever they live“. “We will not waver on this commitment“, he added.
On Friday, the very conservative Supreme Court buried the right to abortion, reversing its emblematic judgment “Roe v. Wade” from 1973 and returning to the States the possibility, or not, of prohibiting abortions.
