The first model, named Frontline LE60, pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the original MGB. With only 30 conversions planned, this vehicle impresses with its widened body and light weight of 1,122 kilograms, approximately equal to that of a Mazda MX-5 RF.
At the heart of the Frontline LE60 is a new 4.8-litre Rover V8 engine that produces 375 horsepower, almost triple the power of the original model. This engine delivers 403 Nm of torque to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission developed by Tremec and a limited-slip differential. This configuration allows you to achieve the 100 km/h in approximately four seconds.
The combustion engine version is named LE60 in honor of the sixtieth anniversary of the original model.
Riding on 16-inch alloy wheels, the Frontline LE60 features a Almost perfect 50:50 weight distribution and an all-new suspension co-developed with Nitron. Upgraded brakes, with six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear, provide exceptional stopping power. The chassis has been strengthened to handle the significant increase in power compared to the original model.
The second variant, known as Frontline BEE, is an electrical work of art. Equipped with an electric motor 114 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters of torque, the BEE offers a unique driving experience by maintaining a manual gearbox and a clutch pedal.
The Frontline BEE, available in coupe and convertible versions, is equipped with a 114 horsepower electric motor.
Its energy comes from a 40 kWh battery which charges fully in just over five hours. Despite its electric motor, it weighs only slightly more than the V8 variant and maintains almost equal weight distribution.
