“Revival” with a report to the prosecutor’s office against over 800 teachers – 2024-08-23 06:01:22

“Vazrazhdane” files a report to the prosecutor’s office against more than 800 teachers, principals and school psychologists who declare themselves against the changes in the education law and the ban on the “propaganda” of non-traditional sexual orientation in school.

This became clear from a publication and statement by the leader of the party Kostadin Kostadinov on Facebook.

“We have witnessed an organized criminal group inside the Bulgarian education system. People who are protesting and have signed their unwillingness to comply with this law. If they break it, they become criminals. If they don’t like it, they should leave the system,” he said in a statement from Burgas. The law prohibiting the propaganda of the third gender in schools was submitted by “Vazrazhdane” and adopted by an almost constitutional majority by the parliament.

Yesterday “Vazrazhdane”-Varna released a list of teachers who are against the law and called on parents to “ask for an explanation from the directors of the schools where the genders in question are parasitizing”.

“Vazrazhdane” also insists on “guarantees that these persons will not carry out illegal propaganda against children”.

At the same time, “Continuing the Change” will submit a project to change the controversial “definition” in the Preschool and School Education Act next week, the party’s press office said.

“There is no propaganda in the Bulgarian school. It was prohibited by law until now. Every content that reaches the students, every textbook, every aid or curriculum goes through the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science. The adopted amendments to the law on pre-school and school education “struggle” with a non-existent problem. Not only that, they are planting a huge new one,” the message reads.
