Cooperation and joint construction, the district team glows with new vitality
In order to promote the development of the Guangxi women’s handball team, the Guangxi Ball Sports Development Center decided to seek help from outside forces and take the path of co-construction with strong teams. In January 2022, with the strong support of the Sports Bureau of the Autonomous Region, Guangxi Ball Sports Development Center signed a 4-year co-construction agreement with the currently well-known Jiangsu Women’s Handball Team in China. In the co-construction content, it is clarified that the Guangxi team can send coaches and athletes to the Jiangsu team to study and train with the team. By studying and training with high-level teams and absorbing advanced training concepts and methods, the coaches and athletes from Guangxi have been greatly improved. In the past few years, only the five districted cities of Laibin, Beihai, Guigang, Fangchenggang, and Nanning were able to train and steadily send handball players to the Guangxi district team. In the 2023 Guangxi Youth Handball Championship, a total of 8 teams from various districts and cities will participate, which is the event with the most participating teams in recent years.
