Mercedes-Benz has completed work on the modernization of the crossover GLA. New arrivals include a new multimedia device, LED High Performance lights, electrified engines.
The compact crossover will already be offered in the basic version with 7-inch (10.25-inch for a surcharge) digital gauges and the new MBUX 10.25-inch multimedia device, a leather-wrapped steering wheel (heating – for a surcharge) and comfort seats with partial leather upholstery. The set also includes 17-inch wheels in a five-spoke design (18-20 inches for a surcharge).
In addition to the leather steering wheel and LED High Performance headlights, the basic equipment also includes automatic high beams, a reversing camera and a USB package. Starting with the Progressive trim level, customers also get parking and mirror packages. The GLA also includes the latest generation of MBUX with modified display settings and improved online services. Special mini-games are also available upon request.
Mercedes GLA gasoline engines have been electrified, which guarantees additional power and lower fuel consumption, the two-liter diesel, which is available in three power levels, has also been modified and has become even more economical, while the improved hybrid unit has become more powerful, provides a greater range in electric mode and is faster to charge.
In general, the Mercedes GLA buyer has access to various engines in the 116-224 hp range, but the Plug-in-Hybrid GLA 250 e hybrid now develops 218 hp and 450 Nm.
