KOMPAS.com – Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten will be revitalized for about the next six months.

This is done to increase the capacity and productivity of passenger and aircraft movements.

“In about six months, all of this can be completed so that it can meet the increasing demand. Soetta Airport will be a showcase for the Indonesian state in the eyes of the world,” said the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Saturday (22/7/2023), as quoted from a written statement received by Kompas.com.

Revitalized area

Budi Karya added that the capacity of Soekarno-Hatta Airport would be increased to 110 million passengers per year, from the previous capacity of 65 million per year.
