REVIEWS: Return of Friends? Nice class meeting. Mostly no more sequels

The class meeting discusses who liked whom, who dated whom, who annoyed whom, and then waved at him with a smile. Sometimes a favorite teacher is invited for fun.

This is exactly how the Friends meeting took place, only on a larger budget. There was talk of what Ross and Rachel had or didn’t have together, and actors from supporting roles and celebrities such as David Beckham and Justin Bieber also contributed a bit to the mill. The fashion show of celebrities in old costumes was quite entertaining.

Producers David Crane and Marta Kauffman recalled what most fans of the show probably had no idea – where the young budding actors such as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer came from in 1994 and why they chose them.

Friends was not an ordinary television series, it was a show that became a symbol of the nineties, which Reunion participants and producers did not hesitate to recall. The whole world knows him, it is broadcast to this day.

The magic of Friends lay, firstly, in the funny scenarios and secondly in the fact that the group of actors was perfectly assembled – they were all the main characters, they were all nice and fun, they recorded, there was chemistry between them all and maybe they were really human.

They also had a perfect stellar impression, because they finished on time. Finishing on top is an art that only the best of the best master, and they don’t always succeed.

The one-time meeting of Friends after years was touching, not embarrassing. Let’s just hope that some TV producer doesn’t think of artificially stretching it and inventing a sequel after 25 years, after 30 years and so on. It is enough that this “disaster” affected the series Sex and the City.
