Today, a new Star Wars game from Electronics Arts is released, this time with the subtitle Squadrons, and on Metacritic the first reviews emerged, which turned out to be surprisingly positive, as at the time of writing, the game earned 78% for the PS4 version and even 81% for the PC version. Star Wars: Squadrons does exactly what it’s aimed at – and it does it really well. It is so far the smallest console Star Wars title from EA, but also the best. Battles sometimes seem unnecessarily lengthy and the game would definitely not be harmed by a bit of the extra content – I personally would really like to see a deathmatch mode for 20 players (or more). As a result, this title is difficult to really criticize, as I can easily recommend it as a campaign and multiplayer package.
