Appearance and specs

In addition to the PC itself, the package includes an AC adapter, glasses cable, HDMI cable, VESA mount attachment, stand, screws, M.2 to Oculink adapter card, and manuals. ↓

After assembling the stand, you can use the PC standing up as shown below.

The AC adapter has a nice curved design with the MINISFORUM logo engraved on it.

The reason why the Oculink card is a separate part is so that you can choose whether to connect M.2 to Oculink or connect it to an SSD for sub storage.

Regarding the specifications of this machine, the CPU Ryzen 7 7840HS is an AMD chip with Zen4 architecture, 8 cores, 16 threads, maximum 5.1GHz, TDP 54W, 16MB cache. The GPU is equipped with AMD Radeon 780M.

In addition, the DDR5 RAM in the SO-DIMM x2 slot is up to 96GB, the main storage is PCIe4.0 M.2 2280 SSD x2, and the OS is Windows 11.

For communication, M.2 2230 Wi-Fi supports Wi-Fi6E and Bluetooth 5.

As for ports, on the front as shown below there is a 3.5mm earphone jack, USB4.0 Type-C, USB3.2 Gen2 Type-A x2, power button, and CLear CMOS.

Disassemble and check the contents of the case

After removing the top cover, remove the 4 screws to access the inside.

The RAM comes with two 16GB RAM made by Crucial and can be easily replaced.

The storage is a Kingston 1TB PCIe4.0 NVMe SSD. There is another M.2 next to it, where you can insert an Oculink card or another SSD.

If you insert an Oculink card, remove the rubber gasket below and you will be able to use the Oculink port.
