According to INSEE, the total number of business start-ups, all types of businesses combined, rebounded in June 2022 (+ 4.0%, after a 4.5% decline in May).
The creation of traditional businesses recovered to a greater extent (+ 8.2%, after – 6.8%) than the registrations of micro-entrepreneurs (+ 1.3%, after –3.0%).
In raw data, the total number of businesses created in the last twelve months (from July 2021 to June 2022) decreased (-2.9%) compared to the same period of the previous year.
