19 years. That’s how long fans have been waiting for a real sequel to the 2D adventures of intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran. Worth the wait, really. Dread is excellent, hardcore and a beautiful love letter to the genre. The terrifying ‘EMMIs’ are refreshing and live up to the title chillingly. Meanwhile, the somewhat retro flair is splashed off the screen, but especially on the new (and more expensive) OLED Switch.
