The Logitech G733 should be a nicer alternative to all the lifeless black that you often see in headsets. With different colors to choose from and RGB lighting as well, it should make this piece of hardware a bit more appealing to the eye. You can read in our review whether that was successful and the quality is okay.
It is immediately noticeable that the wireless G733 does indeed look beautiful, but that the plastic also feels a bit cheap and weak. Personally, we don’t think this is a problem at all, especially because you don’t notice it once it is on your head. In fact: if you like a very light headset that doesn’t bother you, then the G733 is a real pleasure. Even headsets that we previously experienced as nice and light feel extremely heavy after wearing this model. However, if you enjoy the premium feel of a robust headset, you would be disappointed in this case.
The sound is exactly what you can expect from the price range of around € 150. The low bass is fine, and so do the high notes: for sound in games, Discord chats with friends and music, the G733 is all set. It’s fine sound, but at the same time it’s not as rich as a $ 250 model. So if you are a gigantic audiophile, you will have to dig a little deeper into your pouch.
About the battery. The box says that the battery will last for eighteen hours and although we never quite achieved that ourselves, it certainly doesn’t make much difference. If you charge the headset properly, you can use it all day without a doubt. The great thing is that you can also simply connect it to your PC with a cable. Then you can use and charge it at the same time, so you will never run into problems. The headset connects wirelessly to a USB dongle that you can easily plug into your console. Are you switching to the Nintendo Switch for a while? Insert the dongle and it works immediately.
All in all, the Logitech G733 is a nice headset that we can really only be positive about. It looks nice, the sound is what you can expect from the price range, it is so incredibly light that other headsets can never feel more comfortable by comparison and it is easy to use on everything. If you are looking for a wireless headset within this segment, it is highly recommended.
