Review: Hampus Nessvold struggles in vain in “Sackaria’s vomit”

Broker Sakarias Wargentin has it all – success, money and an almost religious self-control when it comes to his daily calorie intake. 1500–1700 kilocalories is the so-called daily budget, if it gets too much, you just throw up. He tells this through a monologue by the sisters Tove and Sofie Forsman and Hampus Nessvold, who also portrays the title character in “Sakaria’s vomit”.

The stage has been set up like a nightclub toilet, with tinted full-length mirrors and tiled floors. The booth, including toast chairs, where much of the monologue takes place, goes like a catwalk out towards the audience. Vanity has its price.
