Review Ghostwire: Tokyo – Conclusion

Whether it’s a top game or not, that’s not really the message I wanted to convey. I just wanted to make it clear that the last two Far Cry games were of an unseen low level, just like the last The Settlers game by the way. And that Ghostwire is a higher level anyway. This is a comment that describes Far Cry 5 well:

I’m with you. On the little I have played (have bug were it’s night time constantly) I was shocked at wtf is going on in the world. As soon as I got off the first little island, which was alright. I encountered 2 trucks of bad guys, fighting another group of people. All while deer and Bears are in the middle as well. I thought this was a really cool moment. Didn’t realize that, that….was going to be every 30 seconds of the game.

I can’t understand all the praise for it either. I have played all the far cry games and this is the worst one for me personally. I enjoyed the last one very much. Primal was fantastic. But this is more of a comedy with all the s##t that’s happening. Pretty tough to get immersed in the world when the world itself is utterly ridiculous. They could have called this game, Bears, wolves & dudes. Cos that’s all it is, all of the time.

While with Ghostwire, you’ll see loads of people say that the game feels photo-realistic when you use ray tracing on the highest setting. And you also see a lot of people saying it’s a stunning game graphically. There are also people who think it could become a cult classic: https://www.denofgeek.com…view-cult-classic-horror/

While in Far Cry you see the most loyal fans have to admit that the quality of the game is zero: https://www.finder.com.au…de-edens-gate-film-review

There’s really only one memorable scene, but even that requires a huge leap of faith by the audience to accept why one of the leads is buying into Seed’s particular brand of BS.
