The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is Samsung’s latest high-end smartphone — and in addition to a traditional front rectangular screen, it also has a seven-inch interior folding display. It is a device that manages to be compact like other mobile phones and quickly transforms into a small tablet. Furthermore, this is the first model with a semi-hidden inner camera built into the screen. It’s the mobile phone for those who want to have everything in one device and don’t mind spending a lot for it (over 1800 euros). It is worth it? It depends on what you want. Mainly due to the high value, we got the feeling that it could be worth more.

The Z Fold3 (let’s just call it that because the name is big) is available in two versions: one with 256GB of internal memory and 12GB of RAM (yes, 12GB); and another, for those who really don’t want to risk running out of space, with 512GB. As a smartphone with a folding screen, it has a total of three cameras: one on the 6.2-inch front screen, the one built into the 7.6-inch folding screen, and even a triple-lens camera on the back of the device. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, is water resistant (IPX8) and has an inner protective film that is “80% longer lasting” than the previous model — we didn’t scratch it with a key, but it felt like resistant.
Samsung presents a foldable smartphone with a hidden camera under the screen
Compared to the last Fold, this new model now allows you to use the brand’s digital pens — the S Pen — to write on the folding screen. An important novelty considering that Samsung did not present new Note versions this year. However, and similarly to what happens with the charger and headphones, although there is compatibility with the S Pen, this is not included with the smartphone. In three gifs, we show the strengths of this device.
