The managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, is taking a positive test for COVID-19, after a series of meetings last week with global financial leaders in Washington, the IMF announced.
In a statement, the IMF spokeswoman said Georgieva had mild symptoms, worked remotely and was isolated from home.
68-year-old Kristalina Georgieva has received 3 doses of vaccine in accordance with the standard recommendations of the IMF and the protocols of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
