After the accident, the woman was tested with the drugtest device, the result was positive. However, following the analyzes carried out by IML Iași, the result disproved the fact that the woman was under the influence of psychoactive substances, the Police announced on Wednesday. “Following the evidence administered by the police and the investigations carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Brăila Court, it was established that, on August 26, at the time of the road accident, a man was driving the car, 40 years old, from Brăila, who has the exercise of the right to drive suspended”, the Brăila IPJ communicated.
The man was detained for 24 hours, and on Thursday he will be presented to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Brăila Court with a legal proposal. In this case, a manslaughter case was opened, driving a vehicle with the right to drive suspended and leaving the scene of the accident or modifying or erasing its traces.
