Foreign Minister Liz Truss, Defense Minister Ben Wallace, Chancellor Rishi Sunak, Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab and Interior Minister Priti Patel entered the “stop list” Kremlin.
Other senior members of the cabinet and a string of other politicians have also been banned.

In all, 13 members of the British government and politicians are now barred from entering Russia.
“In light of the unprecedented acts of hostility of the British government, which were expressed, in particular, in the imposition of sanctions on high-ranking officials of the Russian Federation, the decision was made to include key members of the British government and a number of political figures in the ‘stop list‘ Russia,” the Putin government said in a statement, as quoted by The SunSaturday (16/4/2022).
“Basically, the British leadership is deliberately exacerbating the situation around Ukraine, pumping the Kiev regime with lethal weapons and coordinating similar efforts on the part of NATO,” the statement continued.
Russia’s announcement of sanctions against Britain came as Putin denounced “hostile” London sanctions imposed on Russians with ties to the Kremlin after war broke out in Ukraine.
