Lübeck – The 20th matchday of the Association League South-East was again only a short game day, since the games of SG Bad Schwartau against SC Rapid and des SV Hamberge against TSV Lensahn were relocated. master 1. FC Phoenix II has already on Friday evening in added time for the first leg defeat against the SG Sarau / Bosau returned the favor. the SVG Pönitz defeated Entracht Groß Grönau and ended their winning streak.

The voices after the games:

1. FC Phönix Lübeck II – SG Sarau/Bosau 3:2 (2:0)

Daniel Safadi (Phoenix II): “It often happens when you become champion early on that you lose your tension and work less in the individual games. But the boys didn’t want to just give away the time and work they’ve put into this season. They wanted to continue where they started with Gabi Lopes. They’ve already had their two slip-ups this season with a draw and a loss. Even after winning the championship, we all agreed that we didn’t want to lose any more points. That looked very good in the first 45 minutes. Sarau would probably not have complained if it had been 6-0 at half-time. But due to too many missed chances, we only go on break with 2:0. That took revenge and Sarau came back to 2:2. The boys caught themselves again and scored the deserved winning goal in added time. So the spectators also had fun with the game.”

Robertino Borja (Sarau/Bosau): “A game where in the first half it looked like Phönix would easily win. At half-time it should have been 4-0 or 5-0. Thanks to Lars Möller, the deficit was only 0:2. I wasn’t satisfied at all in the first round. In the second half a different picture. The boys really got into it and made it 2-2. A great performance from the boys. Then we still had the 3:2 on the foot. In stoppage time we still concede the 2:3. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win a point. Nevertheless, I’m satisfied with the second half. Congratulations to Phoenix II.”

SVG Pönitz – TSV Eintracht Groß Grönau 1:0 (1:0)

Christian Born (Pönitz): “Against Grönau we were able to rely on our spectators. They were able to give us the extra push we had hoped for. In a good association league game we were able to downplay our boots. We were in the game from the start and consistently played our attacking game. After changing the system from Grönau to a three-man chain and bringing in Nils Gramckau (still an amazing footballer), who honestly kept us a little busy, we got back into the game better after ten minutes in the second half. We can make the sack several times, but we miss good chances through Valo, Staege, Toth and Brozeit. At the end of a good league game, it was a deserved win. The good refereeing rounded off the game.”

Henning Meins (Grönau): “If we had won today’s game, we would have had the opportunity to consolidate second place. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to call up our best form. A lack of willingness to run and a bad duel made our series break. There are games like that, but they shouldn’t be played too often. Losing in a fair game with a good team of referees is totally fine.”
