Malek Fayyad was released after it was proven that Ward was blackmailing him, and no witness or evidence has yet been available to convict him, and therefore he was released. Basil had a breakdown after discovering that Alia was Rehab’s daughter and that his late father had an affair with her, which saddened him greatly. Rehab noticed Basil’s strange behavior towards her and asked him whether she told him anything about the truth or not. Faye lost control of her actions and also lost consciousness after an argument with Jawad over her brother Malik causing her sister’s accident. Jawad could not hide his feelings for Faye even after they were apart, and when she fell after the argument, he caught her and said to her: “Relax, I am here by your side.”
The story of the Crystal series
The events of the series “Crystal” revolve around the struggle of a poor girl called “Faye” Stephanie Atallah, with the biggest and most famous fashion designer called “Alia Karam” and Pamela Al-Kik, for the love of a famous doctor called “Jawad Fayyad” Mahmoud Nasr.
The series’ events begin when Alia returns to her homeland after her father’s death, and is surprised by his will, which stipulates that she must live with her brother, Basil, to obtain her share of the inheritance.
Alia meets Faye in the palace where she lives, and a fast friendship develops between them. However, the friendship soon turns into a fierce competition when they both fall in love with Jawad.
