“Orange Is the New Black” star Uzo Aduba has kept the marriage secret from the public until now.

On Sunday, she celebrates her one-year anniversary with her new husband, filmmaker Robert Sweeting.
Their marriage has been unknown until she posted the surprise on Instagram on Sunday, quoting “When Harry Met Sally”:
“When you realize that you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible,” she writes in swarming words on Instagram.
She continues: “My heart, my beloved – I am so glad that my life with you began last year. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.
Sources like People and The Hollywood Reporter has spoken to confirms that Aduba and Sweeting got married a year ago.
Then they must have given their silent yes to each other during a secret ceremony in New York.
The news comes almost four years after the actress expressed how much she enjoyed her sister Chioma’s marriage.
– It was incredible, she said on the talk show “Live with Kelly & Ryan” in 2017.
– It was such a great experience. She married in Mallorca, Spain. This is the third wedding in our family, but me and Cheech, since we are the closest in age, we will always have a bond like when we were roommates, she continued.
Aduba lost its mother in November last year, but did not share it publicly until April. In an interview med People she said that her lead role in the series “In Treatment” on HBO helped process the grief after her mother’s death.
– It is never easy to lose someone. It is certainly not easy to keep your distance from it when the character you play experiences a similar loss, she told the magazine.
