But there will also be more Allsvenskan clubs involved in the battle for his services and according to what HockeyNews.se experiences, there will be a bidding war for the Austrian. However, Rauchenwald would very much like to go to Västerås and the interest should be mutual.
– He has not signed yet, but there has been contact with Västerås, I can say that. I also talk to a couple of other clubs in the Allsvenskan, so it is probably quite likely that he will end up in Sweden. But nothing has been signed yet, says the player’s agent Peter Kasper.
Rauchenwald is described as an offensively skilled two-way center and last season accounted for 15 points (7 + 8) in 20 games. In total, there have been 327 matches and 136 points in the Austrian league.

Rauchenwald has also represented Austria in the World Cup the last two championships. Now he should be close to being ready for Västerås’ investment in the SHL.
