Menpora Dito Ariotedjo is known to have assets worth IDR 282 billion. With that much treasure, what are the contents of Menpora Dito’s garage?
Minister of Youth and Sports Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo has reported his assets to the KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission). Seen by detikOto in the State Administration Wealth Report (LHKPN) which was deposited by Dito on July 12, 2023, Dito has a total wealth of IDR 282,465,579,658.
Dito’s assets consist of various assets. Some of them were listed as gifts. Specifically for transportation and machinery, Dito reported three vehicles, all of which were car types. The three vehicles in Dito’s garage are:
1. Toyota Fortuner VRZ car in 2020, own production, valued at IDR 480,000,000
2. Toyota Alphard 2.5 G in 2019, prize, worth IDR 900,000,000
3. Hyundai Ioniq 5 2022 car, self-produced, valued at IDR 800,000,000
In total, the three cars owned by Dito have a value of IDR 2,180,000,000. Beyond that, the assets with the greatest value are land and buildings. Dito reported owning five plots of land and buildings with a value of IDR 187,595,355,600, of which four were gifts.
Continuing, Dito also has Securities whose value reaches Rp. 89,342,294,072, cash and cash equivalents of Rp. 13,393,899,111, and other movable assets of Rp. 6,004,303,070. Dito is known to have a debt of IDR 16,050,902,195.
Examined as a Witness in the BTS Corruption Allegation Case
Menpora Dito’s name has recently been in the spotlight. Earlier this month, Dito underwent an examination as a witness in the BTS Kominfo corruption case at the Attorney General’s office.
“I have to straighten this out and take responsibility for the public trust that has been given to me so far,” said Dito at the Attorney General’s Office, Jakarta, as quoted by detikJabar from detikNews, Monday (3/7/2023).
According to him, this clarification must be known to the public because information has emerged regarding him in the BTS corruption case. For two hours Dito was questioned as a witness at the AGO.
“I hope that with this official process, later it can also be followed up officially where this can also clear my name. And also the trust that has been given by both Mr. President Jokowi and the people who have supported me,” said Dito.
