TikTok trends tend to give a lot to talk about and this month of August a new one was born that has to do with childhood, we explain.
Tiktok users share what they wrote in their childhood diaries: videos are trending
Many women had a secret diary at some point in their childhood where they wrote what they lived at school or a particular secret.
Although this information remained private and personal for years, it seems that the users are encouraged to reveal what these famous diaries had inside, thus revealing some very curious anecdotes.
For example, @micheladaymota commented in her video titled “Things written in my childhood diary that make me doubt my mental health bye”, that when she was in elementary school there was a boy she liked, but she couldn’t “walk with him” because he was her half brother.
On another page, he assured that a girl in his classroom did not like him very much for being “gossipy.”

At the moment it is unknown who the creator of the trend was, but the hashtag #diariodeinfancia, which has more than 2 million views, is sweeping Spanish-speaking countries, especially in Mexico.
One of the most viral videos was the one made by the tiktoker @karlienaki, who revealed that she once got angry with one of her friends because she didn’t lend her a pen and ended up drenching it with water.
He also confessed that he wanted to blackmail his teacher because according to his words she discovered that he was gay.
“Dear diary, today I realized that my teacher is practically gay and he doesn’t want anyone to know, but I held hands with another man. I’m going to blackmail him to get a 10. PS, my mom wants to send me to catechism and I don’t want to go because churches scare me, I’m leaving bye”.
“Random” stories like the one mentioned above are what make the clips popular and in the comments, people are letting it be known how much they love the trend of showing childhood diaries publicly.
“These tiktoks are my favorites hahaha”, “I don’t know who came up with this, but thank you, I can’t stop laughing”, “The newspapers are very aggressive sisters haha”, “Everything they write is very shady, but sincere , I love it”, “What a good trend, keep uploading your newspapers please”, “I need to know more stories haha they are all epic”, or “Super fun I’ve been watching videos of these for hours”, is what they mentioned.
In addition, the users emphasized that many girls who share their diaries had the habit of saying goodbye on the pages when they finished writing, which they found quite curious.
