JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan dismantle the figure of the person who coined the term all Law first time.

From that term then emerged the Workplace Copyright Bill (RUU) which later changed into the Job Creation Bill.

According to Luhut, the person who coined the term Omnibus Law for the first time was the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning or the Minister of ATR, Sofyan Djalil.

Luhut said that Sofyan Djalil knew the term Omnibus Law because he had studied in the United States.

“The term Omnibus Law came from the ATR Minister. Because he learned about this in America first,” said Luhut in a virtual broadcast quoted from Tribunnews.com on Sunday (11/10/2020).
