Suara.com – Part Covid-19 patient varian omicron undergoing isolation at RSPI Sulianti Saroso. Of the several probable and confirmed cases of Covid-19, all of them experienced mild symptoms, even without symptoms.
The head of the Pinere Working Group (infectious, new emerging, & reemerging diseases) RSPI Sulianti Saroso, Dr. Pompini Agustina Sitompul, Sp.P., also revealed the vaccination status of each patient.
“RSPI Sulianti has isolated probable cases and confirmed cases with no symptoms and mild symptoms that have been vaccinated with two doses,” said Dr. Pompini in a webinar, Indonesian Health Facilities Preparedness for Omicron Variants, Thursday (12/30/2021).
However, there are some patients who experience hypercoagulopathy or blockage in the blood vessels. Doctor Pompini explained that this condition can interfere with the process of oxygen exchange in the body.

Doctors are still studying the condition further to see its lasting impact on other organs. According to him, hypercoagulopathy is more common in patients with comorbidities.
“There are several confirmed cases that have comorbidities and signs of hypercoagulopathy have started to appear, even though these patients feel asymptomatic. That’s what we must remain vigilant,” he said.
Doctors are still monitoring the possibility of hypercoagulopathy affecting the lungs, kidneys, and heart.
Doctor Pompini said that the Covid-19 patient with the omicon variant at the Sulianti Saroso Hospital was placed in a different room from patients who were not travelers. They are also routinely given multivitamins to psychological support.
