Apriyni with her partner Greysia Polii echoed Indonesia Raya after winning the final of the women’s doubles badminton. They crushed the match between Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan, 21-19 and 21-15 at Musashino Forest Sport Plaza, Tokyo.

The 23 -year -old woman admitted that she had made a pilgrimage to the grave of her mother who died in 2015 before leaving 2020 Olympics. He then asked that the necklace given to him by his late mother be corrected because it had been broken for too long.
“Before leaving for the Olympics, I went home for a pilgrimage to my mother’s grave, I sent a prayer for my mother. After that, I remembered my mother and missed her,” said Apriyani Rahayu, as published on the official PB Djarum website, Monday (9/8/2021).
“Finally, I asked someone to fix the necklace my late mother gave me. It was given for a long time and at that time it broke. So I used my mother’s necklace to cure my longing and strengthen me when my mother is always by my side,” he added.
