The new Toyota Camry will become more expressive in appearance, and its interior will be made more modern. The sedan will still be available in petrol and hybrid versions, but the top-end V6 will disappear from the lineup.

The first information about the ninth generation Toyota Camry has appeared. The D-class sedan will debut in 2024. About it became known to the journalists of the Australian site The Drive.

The development of the Toyota Camry is somewhat delayed, because earlier the change of generations of the model took place every 5 years, and the current generation of the sedan will be in production for 2 years longer. The fact is that Toyota has concentrated on creating crossovers that are in great demand than sedans.

The new Toyota Camry will be built on the TNGA-K platform, like the current model. It is possible that the sedan will grow somewhat in size, because the older Toyota Avalon has left the market in most countries.

Toyota Camry design will change and become more expressive. The front end, with its pointed nose and slender headlights, will be inspired by the new Toyota Prius and Crown sedan.

Salon Toyota Camry 2024 will be made more modern. Inside there will be a virtual instrument panel and an enlarged touchscreen with a new multimedia system.

The 2.5-liter petrol engine and hybrid unit will remain in the lineup, but they will certainly be upgraded. But there will be no 3.5-liter V6 – it will be replaced by a 265-horsepower 2.4-liter turbo four.

Previously Focus reported that Japan will start production of an unusual hybrid of Toyota Yaris and the old Jaguar.

We also wrote that Toyota Corolla received a powerful extreme version.
