REVEALED: Original ending to Randy Orton’s unsuccessful fight

Randy Orton is currently performing in the Raw Tag Team division. He teamed up with Riddle and they are known together as RK-Bro. On the recent episode of Raw, they collided with The Street Profits. During the match, Montez Ford attempted to launch his iconic Frog Splash, but ended up awkwardly landing on the Legend Killer!

The match was over immediately. The strange way the match concluded led to speculation that something was not right. As soon as the move was delivered, Montez Ford pinned Orton. According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, this was not the originally planned ending to the match.

Randy Orton y Enigma they were supposed to deliver a pair of RKOs and secure a win, per the original plans. But after being hit with the Frog Splash, Orton was unable to continue and the spontaneous decision was made to hand the victory over to The Street Profits!

The Viper is hands down one of the greatest of all time. While fans have loved him throughout the RK-Bro story, they surely miss the old on-screen villain. After all, Randy Orton’s dominance was on a whole other level when he performed as an individual Superstar, which has been absent in his Tag Team role.

The Legend Killer won his 14the title in 2020. His reign was fairly short and was mostly used to push then champion Drew McIntyre. But considering Orton has shown no signs of slowing down, he may well break the record for most titles in company history in the near future.
