Last year, a paper revealed the findings of a lake at the south pole Mars which is estimated to have many air.
Now a new study reveals that radar signals interpreted as air possibly volcanic rock.
In their paper, the scientists reveal that they have returned to researching the surface of the Earth Mars previously called covered by a layer of ice.

“We found that some volcanic-associated terrain produces very strong basalt signal analogues to what is observed at the South Pole Mars,” wrote the paper quoted by Science Alert, Wednesday (26/1/2022).
When searching air Using reservoir detection last 2018, radar signal revealed the presence of the lake air highly reflective at a position 1.4 kilometers under the ice.
“It’s consistent with the pool air underground,” said the researchers.

Subsequent searches found a more glossy reflective patch, revealing an entire network of underground lakes. On earth, air underground is a place where there is microbial life that depends on chemical reactions, not sunlight, to survive.
