The suspect in the Binomo case, Indra Kenzalong with his girlfriend, Vanessa Khong, had uploaded a moment of buying a luxury car on showroom owned by Rudy Salim, namely Prestige Motorcars. The National Police revealed that Indra Kenz was only pretending to buy a Toyota Supra GR to Rolls-Royce for the sake of content.
“In relation to the other vehicles, investigators conveyed that the examination of the Rolls-Royce and Toyota vehicles contained in the content was only for the purpose of content creation,” said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Gatot Repli Handoko in a virtual press conference, Friday. (18/3/2022).
Rudy Salim’s lawyer, Frank Hutapea, also said the same thing. Indra Kenz, he said, only bought one car from Rudy Salim, namely Tesla.
“A total of one was sold, a Tesla that was already confiscated (by the police),” Frank said at the National Police Criminal Investigation Department building today.
Rudy denied that Indra Kenz bought a car other than Tesla. He also dismissed the Tesla price of Rp. 18 billion.
“Yes, that’s the price of Tesla. No (Rp 18 billion), it’s like he only has that much money,” said Rudy Salim.
It is known, Indra Kenz has several times bought luxury vehicles in Indonesia showroom owned by Rudy Salim. Those moments were recorded and immortalized by Indra Kenz in channel His YouTube and TikTok.
Indra Kenz, on a whim, once bought a luxury car, this time the Toyota Supra GR was released showroom Prestige Image Motorcars in January 2021.
Surprisingly again, with the excuse that he was tired of owning a Tesla and a Ferrari, Indra Kenz bought a car again. Indra Kenz finally bought a red Lamborghini car for Rp 9 billion.
Not only Indra Kenz, his girlfriend, Vanessa Khong, also glanced at the Rolls-Royce which cost the same. The two cars were immediately paid Rp. 18 billion in cash in cash showroom Prestige Image Motorcars.
Regarding this, Prestige Motorcars’ attorney, represented by Frank Hutapea, has already clarified when contacted by detikOto.
“Prestige Motorcars has nothing to do with the industry built by Indra, nor the origin of the money. We (Prestige Motorcars) are purely buying and selling cars, never getting involved in the business of the car buyer. We are not collectors,” said Frank Hutapea.
