Revealed, Dog Brains Can Distinguish Human Language : Okezone techno

STUDY latest by the Department of Ethology, Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary, shows the brain dog was able to distinguish human language.

Adapted from SciTechDaily, Friday (1/7/2022), these findings explain if the dog’s brain can recognize human speech, and respond to it with different activity patterns for known and unknown languages.

The findings of a non-human brain that can distinguish language is the first time. His own research paper has been published in the academic journal NeuroImage.

“We designed our own brain imaging studies to find this out,” said Laura V. Cuaya, one of the researchers.

This study involved 18 dogs in which all were told to lie in a special place with additional support devices, and were trained to distinguish Spanish and Hungarian.

“However, the mechanism underlying the dog brain’s ability to detect speech may be different from sensitivity to speech, while the human brain is specifically tuned for speech, the dog brain may only be able to detect sound,” explains Raul Hernandez-Perez, another researcher.
