Swedish DJ, Avicii died on April 20, 2018. Avicii was confirmed to have died by suicide.
This time, Avicii’s diary was found. The notes will be published in Mans Mosesson Tim’s book – The Official Biography of Avicii, which is due for release in January 2022.
It is known, before he died Avicii experienced a fairly worrying illness.
In 2015, Avicii spent time at the Ibiza Calm rehabilitation center. During his treatment, Avicii wrote down the pain he experienced in his diary.
As for Avicii’s diary, he complained about his pain. During treatment, he was forbidden to drink beer and it made Avicii feel tortured.
The doctor recommends that Avicii refrained from drinking beer for about 1 year. But his girlfriend actually allows if he remains careful. The contents of Avicii’s diary are as follows:
“I’m having a hard time accepting never to drink again despite the strong advice from all doctors to wait, at least a year before drinking beer,” Avicii wrote, quoted by detikcom, from the New York Post Friday (12/31/2021).

“Of course, I didn’t listen to the doctor, I just listened to the couple who said it was okay if I was careful. I was stupid and naive and went on a world tour, still on a never ending tour, because after you’ve been around it once , take a guess?” continued Avicii.
In the diary, Avicii also said that his treatment in the hospital was the most anxiety-free and stress-free day. For him, the moment became a vacation for him.
“You’re starting all over again. The days in the hospital were the most anxiety-free and stress-free I can remember in the last six years. It was my real vacation, it sounds sad.”
“The relief from the excruciating pain of being non-existent, knowing that no one expects anything but to wait for you (which is the only way to treat pancreatitis) and then recover is immense,” he wrote.
“It was such a relief considering the crazy schedule I had kept up until then,” he continued.
It is known, Avicii died in 2018 in the city of Muscat, Oman. He was 28 years old at the time.
Avicii committed suicide using a broken glass bottle.
One day before Avicii’s death, an acquaintance of his father reported something. At that time, his father’s friend explained that Avicii’s condition was not good.
Avicii at that time neither ate nor spoke at all. That became his concern.
The person then called Avicii’s father to inform him of his son’s departure.
As for Avicii’s last message, it reads, “The shedding of the soul is the last attachment, before it begins again!”.
