What a pity. The infidelity issue was revealed by the inner circle KPK extensionwhich has the slogan “Dare to be Honest is Great”.
This was revealed by KPK (Dewas) Supervisory Board Deputy Chairman Albertina Ho at a press conference on KPK Dewas 2022 performance on Monday, January 9, 2022. Of the dozens of ethics complaints, Albertina said five were ethically prosecuted, two of which were cases already tried in 2022.
“If we look at the implementation of the ethics trial for this year, there are five files, because these two were last year’s reports and they will only be processed in 2022,” Albertina said.
One case involved professionalism related to state budget spending, another related to the use of scanned signatures related to finances, and another case involving former KPK Vice President, Lili Pintauli Siregar. Well, the remaining two cases are related to extramarital affairs.
“This case carry since 2021 it is about infidelity. Two members of the Commission are being examined in this matter,” said Albertina.
“These two were declared violators of the provisions, in full awareness that all their attitudes and actions were always inherent in their capacity as members of the Commission,” added Albertina.
The case of this affair was ethically tried where one sanctioned an indirect open apology and another sanctioned a closed apology. Albertina did not specify which KPK employees were involved in the affair and to what extent the action was known.
Albertina then went on to say that there have been other cases of infidelity tried ethically. Just as before, Albertina did not delve into this case other than the sanctions imposed.
“This also with regard to the issue of extramarital affairs, then after they have been resolved it is subject to a moderate sanction in the form of an open and indirect apology, in this case the interested party violates the provisions without being fully aware that all his attitudes and actions are always inherent in his capacity as a member of the Commission,” said Albertina.
“Maybe friends ask why the punishment is so light, just apologies. Indeed we know that by changing the status of a KPK employee to ASN, it means that for ethics one can only be subjected to moral sanctions, in this case in the form of excuses, in the field of ethics, but in the field of discipline, that’s all,” added Albertina.
