Sources of the publication say that the package may include air surveillance radars, anti-tank missiles and tankers.
Also, half a dozen types of ammunition, including tank ones, are expected in the list of weapons, which can be finalized this weekend.
US officials told the publication that the cost and specific equipment in the package is subject to change.
The list also plans to include precision-guided aviation munitions, bridging equipment that Ukraine will use to assault Russian positions, tow trucks to assist disabled heavy equipment such as tanks, and additional projectiles for NASAMS.
Recall that Ukraine has agreed with the IMF on a four-year financing package for $15 billion.
In addition, the United States intends to transfer $7.4 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine by September 2023.
