The Reunionese shone last weekend at the French Weightlifting Championship which took place in Istres. The 12 contenders took home 10 medals. Including 3 in gold for Deborah Virama. The young woman also enjoys the luxury of breaking three more French records: snatch, clean and jerk total.
The 25-year-old Saint-Pauloise had been preparing for it for a long time. She is satisfied with her performance.

The next goal of the young weightlifter will be to qualify for the European Championships. She had already made a very good performance at the Games of the Islands which took place in Mauritius in 2019. Deborah Virama then won the silver snatch thanks to her first test at 53 kg.
