“We are not against a fourth year of internship if it aims to improve the training of general practitioners. Because we support everything that could make the health system more egalitarian in the territories. But we are opposed to a measure that would make fourth-year general practitioners the adjustment variable for the health system’s flaws in terms of medical deserts ”, analyzes Nicolas Kwai Pun. Those who believe, on the other hand, that offering internships in these territories from the very beginning of the internship would be a good thing “as long as there are enough internship supervisors”.
