Amad Diallo has left the Ivory Coast national team and returned home to Manchester, it has been confirmed by the Ivorian Football Association in a press release on Facebook.
In addition, it is written that Diallo arrived and joined the team on Monday and was expected to be part of the upcoming two matches in the two African Cup of Nations qualifiers face of Sierra Leone.
Without explaining anything else in the press release, it is written that Diallo has to withdraw due to health challenges and that he returned to the club on Wednesday for treatment.
The Ivorian has so far featured in 10 games for United this season and has scored one goal.
