It’s only been a day Returnal was released for PlayStation 5, and many players are already struggling with the fact that it is not possible to save progress in the middle of a run. If you turn off the console – or it crashes – it’s done.
It didn’t take long for many fans to appear on forums asking creators to try to find a way to add a save option, without affecting the essence of the title. And it looks like the Housemarque is starting to hear requests.
In a publication in Twitter, the studio revealed that it is aware of the reports and, despite not announcing that it will add any such option for the time being, the tone was that this could happen in the future.
We listen to the community and love you all. We have nothing to announce now, but keep playing and enjoying the challenge as you can!
Returnal is available exclusively for PS5.
