Report of missing child in Yambol and found yesterday – with an unexpected, dramatic development. Immediately after being found, the child was placed under the protection of social services.
The director of the “Social Assistance” Directorate in the city, Maria Savova, explained that 11-year-old Alexander ran away from his father.
“The child shared that he is afraid to return to the father, that he feels worried. He said that the care given to him was not enough. Information also reached me that the boy had been imprisoned. In fact, at this moment, it evades and it comes to the search for it,” said Savova.
According to the father’s information, little Alexander disappeared early yesterday morning near his home in the “Kurtkaya” area. Late in the afternoon, the child was found near the city park in Yambol, but will not be returned home. A special team will be convened on Monday to decide what is best for Alexander, who lives only with his father since his mother has died.
It can be watched by relatives and friends. The child is placed under social protection. So far, there have been no reports of violence against Alexander.
