What do you say that you are currently the goalie with the most catchy zeros in the second league?
It’s nice, of course. But I don’t focus too much on personal statistics. Team points are important to me. And we’ve been picking up on a regular basis lately. Even thanks to the fact that the whole team is acting extremely responsibly on the defensive.
Why is it that you started so well since the fifth second league round, when you fell at home in the city derby with Zbrojovka? From the next nine matches, you have won seven times and drawn twice …
We now have a stable lineup. We manage to win even at first sight even matches. It gives us confidence. We believe much more now than at the beginning of the season. I wish it went on like this.
From your point of view, what was the duel with Varnsdorf, which was played in the national team break due to the recent quarantine of the North Bohemian team?
In the first half, we soon managed to use the power play after the exclusion of Varnsdorf captain Rudnytsky. However, we were unable to increase our chances of increasing our chances. When our Otrísal saw the red card twenty minutes before the end, the opponent was more often on the balloon and created several gaps in our sixteen. Concerns crossed my mind that we would not lose the win at the very end, as happened to us in the recent matches in Opava and Prostějov. Fortunately, everything turned out well this time. We withstood the final pressure of Varnsdorf.

This is, of course, very gratifying. It is nice to look at the table, which is dominated by two Brno teams. This is a great business card, especially for Líšeň.
Unlike last year’s second league year, in which you finished just behind advancing Hradec Králové, this time the second and third place will mean the opportunity to fight for promotion among the elite. Is it very tempting?
Of course. It would be nice. I have already tried the barracks during my previous engagement in Jihlava. We will definitely argue about her. But maybe we are still bothering Zbrojovka. (smile)
So do you have an idea somewhere in the corner of your soul that you could manage to return to the first league that you have already caught in the past, just with Líšeň?
I’m not saying no. I am very satisfied with the club. In addition, I am at home in Brno, I do not have to commute anywhere. If we managed to advance with Líšeň, I would be very happy, even if we had to play home matches at the city stadium on Srbská. But it’s still a long way off, I don’t think about it much now. The first task is to manage to our satisfaction the remaining two autumn matches in Prague against the Sparta and at home with Vyškov. Then there will be enough time over the winter to set goals for the spring part.
You have spent a significant part of your career in Zbrojovka in the past. Are you still in contact with someone from the club from Králova Pole?
I have experienced a lot of people there over the years, so I still have a few friends in Zbrojovka. Sometimes we write or call, but lately it’s not intense. I focus mainly on Líšeň.
Next Sunday you will defend second place on the Spartan Reserve field. Will it be a very interesting duel for you?
Definitely yes. After all, some fighters who play for the Letna team in the first league can also stand against us. For me personally, it will be an extremely prestigious match against a quality opponent with a number of excellent young footballers. I believe we can handle it.
