Libreville, July 23, 2023 (AGP) – Activists of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG, in power), in the province of Estuaire, were invited, this Sunday, July 23, on the occasion of the political return of this formation, to invest massively to ensure a cash victory in the next general elections.
All the militants of the PDG in the province of the Estuary carried out, this Sunday, the political return of this formation to the Arambo building in Libreville. The Secretary General of the PDG, Steeve Nzegho Dieko, urged the members of this party to get involved, before the presidential election on August 26, in order to ensure a cash victory for the various candidates invested by his party.
«If I met you, it is so that you can get involved not only for our candidates invested in the framework of the legislative elections and on the local lists, but especially for the election of the natural candidate Ali Bongo Ondimba“, he said. Not without indicating that the 42% of the electoral votes of the province of the Estuary, are useful to ensure the victory of Ali Bongo Ondimba in the presidential election.
«In a few days, I have scheduled meetings with officials so that we will travel together, seat by seat, federation by federation, constituency by constituency, so that we can discuss and review our strategies. Review what worked in 2016 or not so that this time the Estuary votes massively and without error our natural candidate Ali Bongo Ondimba“, he confided.
Returning to the nominations within this political formation, which nominations gave rise to some frustrations and discontent, the General Secretary of the PDG asked them not to be discouraged.
