London, New York, Frankfurt Jamie Dimon can’t wait. The US offices of JP Morgan Chase The CEO of America’s largest bank ordered it to reopen. If you want, you can sniff the office air again. A capacity limit of 50 percent still applies.
But Dimon hopes that “in September or October it could look almost like it used to be”. That also means sitting at your desk without a mask.
Although his bank had several record quarters in the corona crisis, Dimon is frustrated. “We didn’t get orders because bankers from the competition were personally with the customer and we weren’t,” he admitted at a conference last week. “That should be a lesson for us.”
At Goldman Sachs it should go back to the office more and more from mid-June. The private equity giant Blackstone orders all fully vaccinated employees back to their desks from June 7th.
