On Thursday, MPs voted on the amendments on the fourteenth pension proposed by the Senate. Among them was the granting of benefits to all seniors, just like the thirteenth pensions will be awarded.
Who will get the fourteenth pension?
The fourteenth pension is a benefit that will only go to the seniors with the lowest pension. The full amount, i.e. PLN 1,250 gross, will be granted to people whose pension is a maximum of PLN 2,900 gross. Above this limit, the “PLN for PLN” rule is to be applied. As much as it exceeds the pension, it will be deducted from the fourteen. It will not be granted to those whose benefit amounts to more than PLN 4,200 gross.

The Senate’s amendment that the benefit should go to everyone was rejected.
Now the bill has been handed over to the president, who has 21 days to sign the bill.
What will the Pension Plus be like?
The thirteenth pension will go to all pensioners entitled to the payment of the benefit as of March 31, 2021. The payment of the thirteenth pension will start in April and will amount to PLN 1022 per hand for all of them. This is also the fourteenth pension.
